Job Description:
One of our repeat longtime customers, a global leader in the manufacture of petrochemical products has the immediate requirement for a Project Engineer for their Northeast Texas facility.​ The Project Engineer will provide the engineering design, control the procurement and coordinate construction activities while managing expenses of capital projects assigned to meet cost, schedule and scope of project requirements.​

Responsibilities:
    Develop and ensure procedures are in place so engineering personal are providing optimum engineering support to the plant facilities
    Develop plan for projects, the budget estimate and obtain approval
    Present detailed mechanical design in align with good engineering and safety practices, regulations, specifications
    Manage and initiate procurement of material, communication with vendors and supply chain personnel to control expediting and receiving of material, meeting cost and scheduling requirements.​
    Coordinate field installation, inspections and acceptance.​
    Manage performance reviews of vendors /​ contractors
    Present and prepare project status /​ progress reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
    Develop engineering personnel, recommend training /​ seminars and other technical training.​
    Provide engineering expertise for special assignments to include new regulations, industry trends, new technology, equipment, engineering practices and improvements based on previous experiences with projects.​
    Be involved in rotating on-call engineering team duties

Requirements:
    BS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
    5+​ years experience in Petrochemical or Refinery operation in engineering capacity required
