Outstanding opportunity for a financial analyst with a public company in Melville NY. This position will report to the manager of financial planning and analysis. Salary is in the $45-55k range.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the management of the business to develop strategic/financial plans

• Conduct analysis of the business' performance

• Prepare forecasts, perform critical budget analysis and variances

• Conduct financial research, analyze trends, and participate in a wide variety of finance-related projects.

Required:
• Degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of finance experience

• Excellent analytical, business modeling skills and problem solving skills

• Must have strong understanding of and experience with budgeting and forecasting process

• Must have Excel
