Job Summary:
As the Infrastructure Projects Supervisory Associate on the Advisory HR/Talent team, you’ll work as part of a national based team to perform reporting and analysis and provide advanced operational support as well as project/program management support to HR projects/programs. You will help senior development consultants and Talent leader plan and execute projects and program and provide communications support. You’ll have exposure to executive leaders and you’ll work independently with moderate guidance. You’ll prioritize your own deadlines and may delegate tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Provide operational reporting and analysis. Reporting and analysis include: turnover, global people survey results, employee metrics reports, talent management pipeline reports, rosters, headcount analysis, total rewards analysis, ad hoc requests.
* Manage project/program components and deliverables by creating and maintaining project plans and documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, status updates, final deliverable archive, etc.)
* Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus; communicates issues and status reports to supervisor and/or stakeholders.
* Acts as a peer advisor or mentor to other team members
* Maintain team knowledge management website, including permission/security, content and network roster
* Manage recognition program and various diversity and inclusiveness programs
* Responsible for moderate projects that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables, assign tasks and follow up on their completion and manage sponsor/customer expectations of the outcome of the deliverable.
* Understands the firm’s business, organizational structure and operations
* Applies strong process and technology enablement knowledge to analyses and problem solving with moderate complexity
* Monitors project/program plans to make certain that activities and deliverables are occurring as planned. Identifies points of contention for missed deliverables and creates strategy to mitigate shortfalls in the timeline that missed or unexpected deliverables may create.
* Makes/Presents recommendations to mid to high level management on solutions and influences decisions
* Manages own portfolio of work; delegates tasks, as needed
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
* Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills
* Ability to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems and issues
* Ability to work effectively in and lead small teams
* Competent at managing and meeting multiple deadlines
* Detail oriented
* Ability to assert own ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment for shared projects
* English language skills – excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio and Sharepoint
* Knowledge of project management practices and tools
* Ability to influence others, to gain support and commitment for shared projects
* Works independently with minimal guidance
* Prioritizes own deadlines; delegates tasks to others
* Escalates complex issues with recommendations to project sponsors and/or leadership
* May provide coaching/development and direction to other less experienced team members
* May provide daily supervision to team members, including setting priorities and providing ongoing feedback.
Other Requirements:
* Travel may be required pending business and project needs
* Flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones as needed
* Overtime, as needed to meet deadlines.
Experience:
* A minimum of 5-7 years progressive work experience
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
