Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on, sr.​ software engineer to come in and hit the ground running and will help us create large-scale mesh networking solutions for the smart-grid.​

Responsibilities:
    Design, execute, and automate test plans and test suites for our mesh routers specifically in the areas of routing, roaming, and RF management.​
    Work closely with the development team in problem characterization and early design validation.​
    Lead the system test team in defining test methodologies, managing deliverables, and mentoring staff.​
    This position also requires a considerable amount of interaction with customer support team in replicating customer environments on lab test beds.​

Requirements:
    BS/​MS in CS/​EE/​Math, 8+​ years in testing embedded software including wireless interface drivers.​
    Solid understanding of Linux OS tools, utilities, and wireless drivers.​
    Solid knowledge of the 802.​11a/​b/​g/​n, MIMO, RF, 802.​1x, 802.​11e protocols and 900MHz based frequency hopping systems.​
    Prior experience testing outdoor wireless systems and demonstrated level of ingenuity in setting up complex wireless and/​or networking system test beds is required for this position.​
    Fluent in C, this is a must
    Very familiar and comfortable with Linux embedded OS, both in the development phase (writing code, build image) and operational phase (how to interface with kernel, how to debug, etc.​)
    It is a strong plus if the candidate is familiar with Perl language
    It is a strong plus if the candidate is familiar with xml
    Familiar with Linux SHELL commands, shell scripts, and general Linux operation and packages (e.​g.​, firewall, modules)
    Familiar with TCP/​IP networks and TCP/​IP protocols (like DHCP, ARP, routing protocols, IPv4/​IPv6, tunnel protocols, etc)
    Familiar with ethernet
    Familiar with configuration GUI (Apache server, html, cgi, java script, etc.​)
