Overview:
This position is responsible for shipping and receiving meal product arriving by railcar and departing by truck. Essential Job Duties:
    Operate systems required to receive and ship product in a safe and efficient manner.
    Maintain and troubleshoot all equipment within the facility.
    Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
    Complete log sheets, load forms and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
    Understand and be able to clearly communicate shipping and receiving systems and product flow throughout the facility
    Understand and be able to clearly communicate switch engine and rail procedures
    Understand and be able to clearly communicate meal sampling procedures as it relates to shipping product.
    Demonstrate skill in operating mobile equipment
    Monitor product levels and assist in monthly inventories
    Keep all work areas, buildings and grounds clean at all times
    Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetings

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    High School graduate or GED Equivalent required
    Background in agriculture desired
    Good reading and writing skills preferred
    Ability to take instruction and follow directions required
    Comfortable working safely in high places and with rail equipment required
    Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required
    Strong mechanical skills preferred
    Proficient in basic computer skills preferred
    Must have initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills required
    Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised required
    Positive attitude required
    Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures desired
