Shift Milling Supervisor - Enid, OK
This is a full time, non-exempt position.

Position Summary:
This position reports to the Mill Superintendent and is responsible for shift supervision of all milling units and mill personnel.  Peer relationships include the Plant Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Elevator Supervisor, Bulk Plant Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Packaging Superintendent and the EHS & Food Safety Manager. Internal contacts are most typically the Commercial Team, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Bulk Plant, Maintenance, EHS & Food Safety and Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Prioritizing & maintaining a safe work environment - Zero Is Possible Total commitment to people safety, food safety, quality, yield & efficiency and productivity Working knowledge of all equipment, systems & processes Responsible for training and developing SOPs Assuring mill yield, production, and quality to meet plant needs Maintaining necessary mill documentation required for tracking mill production, quality, and equipment Assist in managing necessary spare parts, predictive & preventive maintenance programs to support efficient operations Labor relations and application of Company Safety & Work Rules and Labor Contract

Job Requirements:
High Level of energy and enthusiasm Ability to work on several detail oriented tasks that may be unrelated Ability to track inventory Ability to make decisions and communicate efficiently with other departments is required High-school or equivalent preferred   Minimum of 5 years of directly related operational & supervisory experience preferred Must have a strong working knowledge regarding people safety, food safety, quality, yields/efficiencies and production Experience in managing, training and directing production, preferably in the flour milling process required Must have "hands on" experience Must be mechanically sound in the operation of these processes with a thorough understanding of predictive/preventive maintenance Must have the necessary organizational skills to support the efficient operation of the processes Must be a strong team developer and work proactively with associates, reports, peers and upper management Completion of IAOM Correspondence Course in Flour Milling is a plus
Working Conditions:
This position requires the individual spend a majority of his/her time on the "shop floor" actively working with the teams to improve safety, quality, efficiencies and productivity through training and continuous improvement efforts. Also, able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, work in extreme temperatures, and able to spend long periods of time on their feet.  The candidate must show good hand dexterity and the ability to work with tools. Candidate needs to be able to work weekends and rotating shifts of 8 or 12 hours.
