District Sales Manager - Western US

Nationally recognized seed company is in search of a District Sales Manager to cover a territory from the Desert Southwest to the Pacific Northwest. While the role will have some farmer contact, this is a business to business type of the District Sales Manager calling on established dealers and dealer prospects. Key clients will be in the forage crop and dairy markets.

Responsibilities will include:

    Work with established dealers and distributors to grow the market share
    Establish new dealers and distributors for the given area
    Do direct selling and provide solid agronomic services to the local growers
    Be a coach and leader to the team of sales professionals

A minimum of 2 years sales experience is required for this position; ideally someone with 4 plus years field sales experience is desired.

The company will offer a solid base salary with a solid and competitive commission and bonus structure.
