Laboratory Technician - Mt. Vernon, INThis is a full time, non-exempt position.

Job Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to work second/third shift
Perform routine analytical tests in an accurate and timely manner on flour
Conduct routine quality control testing
Recording and interpreting test results
Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment

Job Requirements:
Should be familiar with lab instrumentation but not required
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, working under immediate supervision
Computer skills and competency in Excel and Word are preferred
Position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures (previous safety committee and/or other safety leadership experience is a plus)
