Land O'Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition LLC is North America's leading feed company, providing producers, cooperatives and dealers with an extensive line of animal feed, ingredients and services.


Position Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of lab duties.

Will include running aflatoxin and mycotoxin tests, salt tests on poultry feeds, NIR analysis, sample retention program and other collection and testing processes.

Will be responsible for lab stock management, run daily drug inventory checks, review and track products daily, monitor finished product quality, sequencing, yield variance and paperwork review, maintain files, assist in monitoring pest control, cleaning as needed, update lab books and keeps SOPs current, assists/fills in as QA Supervisor as needed, assists in training.
Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):High school diploma or GED

Competencies-Skills (Required):Computer skills (M/S Office), organized, detail oriented, analytical skills, ability to work effectively with others, written and oral communications skills, aptitude for math, ability to work independently, team player.

Experience-Education (Preferred): Post high school education with science background.

Competencies-Skills (Preferred):Some background in lab work and quality lab procedures. Previous experience in a feed mill helpful.
