JOB SUMMARY:
 Responsible for providing consulting services to producers in the areas of crop protection, crop nutrients, soil testing, seed, feed, grain contracting and petroleum products. This position will provide products options supplied by the Coop to fulfill the recommendations provided by their consulting service. This position will perform their job responsibilities in a manner to increase the cooperatives market share and profit; improving the cooperatives efficiency; providing above average customer service; and helping achieve the cooperatives mission statement and goals.
Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability and willingness to sell services to customers,
* Good working knowledge of the crop protection and crop nutrient products offered by the Co-op.
* Good working knowledge of seed, feed, and petroleum products.
* Good general knowledge of grain contracting products and procedures.
* Ability to conduct a soil test and interpret the results.
* Ability to effectively communicate in person to groups of people or to individuals, along with strong written communication skills.
* Ability to plan and coordinate meetings and events.
* Organization and Analytical skills.
* Commercial Drivers License (A) with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
* Computer and data entry skills.
* Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
* Ability to handle emotional customers and resolve complaints.
* Frequently lift or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move 100 pounds.
* Completes special projects as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
