The Institutions for Development Sector (IFD/IFD)

The Institutions for Development (IFD) at the Inter-American Development Bank is responsible for a broad range of issues that include fiscal policy, decentralization, financial and capital market development, competitiveness and innovation, institutional capacity and public sector reform and citizen security, among others.

IFD requires an intern to support the overall organization of the "Department's Korea Week", scheduled for early 2014; and the implementation of the technical cooperation "LAC-China Knowledge Exchange on Institutions for Sustainable and Long-Term Development".

Responsibilities

The intern will perform the following tasks:

    Assist in the organization of the agenda, discussion papers and presentations of "IFD's Korea Week".
    Support the overall coordination and logistical needs associated to this event.
    Prepare post-event summary reports.
    Provide overall support for the implementation of the technical cooperation "LAC-China Knowledge Exchange on Institutions for Sustainable and Long-Term Development".
    Other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Education:

Master's degree student or equivalent in Economics or a related field.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional and/or academic experience.
Computer Skills:
Advanced
Languages:

Proficiency in English and Spanish
