Job Description:
The Role of the Agronomy Sales position is to initiate sales contact with customers throughout an assigned territory, building long-term relationships with existing customers and prospective customers to generate sales of fertilizer, ag chemicals, seed, agronomy services. Addition products and or services may be included.
The incumbent in this role will be managing test plots on farms which will demonstrate product varieties of field crops. Sales Agronomist is expected to stay current on agronomic products, problems, and be able to utilize research to make recommendations to existing customer base. Maintain communications with management; consult internally as needed regarding customer issues, complaints, product success stories.

* Agricultural background preferred

* CCA not required, but added plus if willing to obtain, or already has
Education:
B.S. degree in agriculture or closely related field is strongly desired.
