CHS /Northern Plains Coop has an exciting opportunity to become a member of an experienced Grain Team. We are looking for a Grain Operations Manager. You must be self-motivated, hard working, have good time management skills, good public relations skills, able to make decisions and work independently. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will;
Merchandise overall grain positions in accordance with company policy.
Implement and administer marketing programs with patrons.
Coordinate movement of grain, receiving, grading, loading, and storage among elevator facilities to maximize profitability and meet objectives of General Manager.
Communication with general manager and/or line merchandisers on grain positions and grain programs.
Communicate marketing programs with farmer patrons.
Keep abreast of market conditions and area crop conditions to minimize exposure and maximize profitability.
Communicate with branch managers and operation specialists to facilitate orderly movement of grains and administration of marketing programs.
Implement, administer and follow all CHS Inc Safety Policies
Maintain grain facilities in good, clean and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service; work with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Monitor stored grain condition.
2 year degree in Ag Business or other Agriculture related program. (Additional years of experience may offset education).
3 -5 years experience with Grain Procurement and/or Elevator Operations.
Previous Grain handling experience.
4 year degree in Ag Business or other Agriculture related program.
