Position Purpose:

As an individual contributor, the Mastery Project Manager is responsible for successfully leading medium to large, complex, business/IT projects. The Project Manager will drive projects that are on-time, on-budget and produce high quality deliverables that meet customerexpectations. The candidate will implement project management processes and methodologies; adhering to best practices. This individual is seen as a leader throughout the organization.
 This professional level role requires an individual to work effectively with internal and external customers, third party vendors and senior management in accomplishing project objectives. The Project Manager will perform tasks of moderate to high complexity that requires knowledge of multiple business areas, project management expertise and understanding of IT foundations.

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. 7-10 years of experience leading increasingly complex projects including custom, package, Software as a Service (SaaS) and any combination of these.

Experience motivating small and large cross-functional teams and the ability to interact effectively with any level of management.

Must have experience in project management methodologies and tools; project planning and design, systems development life cycle, estimating, project tracking, resource management; change management, risk management, coaching, negotiating, influencing, budget and financial planning and tracking, problem solving, relationship management.


Competencies-Skills (Required):

The ideal candidate is a proven, committed leader with strong written and verbal communications skills to effectively collaborate and influence people across the organization in one-on-one, small team and large audience settings. The person must have a high degree of integrity and be effective at quickly establishing rapport and trust with key leaders in a matrix organization.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work within tight deadlines. Strong collaborative, proactive and interpersonal skills. This person must have process analysis and systematic thinking skills and the ability to consistently deliver strong business outcomes. Experience with MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experience-Education (Preferred):

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). A Masters degree in Business Administration.
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge of the Clarity Project Portfolio Management software
