FC is currently seeking an Agronomy Sales Intern which will be involved in assisting the Field Sales Agronomist in sales, customer service, and making sound agronomic recommendation to our member.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

o Read and understand soil tests and soil nutrient maps
o Understand and identify plant growth stages
o Weed, insect, and plant disease identification
o Knowledge of pesticide labels
o Assist FSA to build pesticide recommendation based upon plant growth stage, pest pressure, etc.
o Understand capabilities of Precision Ag (grid sampling, soil nutrient maps, VRT, yield maps, etc.
o General knowledge of farming operations (equipment, finance, grain marketing, risk management, crop insurance, etc.)
o Understanding the capabilities and limitations of equipment (Rogators, Terragators, Tool Bars, Side Dress machines, etc.)

Must currently be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year post-secondary institute.
