This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Description:
Key responsibilities are to troubleshoot, service, repair, install, and remove and electrical equipment; including but not limited to, solenoids, motor starters, facility lighting, control system instrumentation, position/motion/plug sensor devices, limit switches, PLC equipment, power supplies, conduit installation, wiring connections, and motors. Start-up and troubleshooting of control systems and projects. Perform preventive procedures. Promote safety tactics and preparations within the department. Participate in on-call schedules to cover second and third shift operations. The position requires the use of hand tools, electric and pneumatic tools, and other tools as needed.

Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years electrical maintenance experience. Candidate should be familiar with motor starters, motor control devices, PLC's, PLC logic, controls, and medium/high voltage. Position may require the completion of company-designated electrical aptitude, interest, and skills evaluation test. Candidate must be willing and able to work overtime, be available for emergency call-in or call-back work, and take formal trade school courses as selected by management.
Previous mechanical and/or electrical experience and/or appropriate technical trade school coursework is needed.
Candidate must be willing and able to perform basic and complex electrical maintenance repair tasks in all areas of the facility.
The position requires that you have the ability to lift 50 pounds, work with heights, sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and work in a variety of hot and cold situations.
