Electrician/Instrumentation Tech Trainee - Clinton, IA

This is an hourly position.

Job Duties:
Installation of electrical and instrumentation systems including but not limited to: power distribution, motor control centers, lighting panels, motor wiring, conduit installation, wire pulling and termination, DCS installations and field instrumentation.

Requirements:

• diploma (or expected diploma in near future) from two year electrical/electronic program (Clinton Community College Mechatronics program or similar)
• strong safety values
• strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing)
• basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems acquired through training or experience
• use of power tools
• ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• flexibility in accepting change
• communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
• reliability in reporting to work; willingness to work overtime as required
• willingness to participate in training to continue developing skills
• ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions
• direct industrial experience or high exposure to industrial work preferred
• knowledge of ADM-Clinton plant - a strong plus

Starting pay is dependent on skills & background from $16.00 - 25.00+ per hour.
 This position offers a complete benefit package including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental coverage. Relocation is not included.

Selection methods include an interview process, background check and pre-employment physical (including drug screen).  New employees are required to satisfy 90 day probationary period.
