This is a rare opportunity, perhaps, for someone freshly out of college or someone with 1-3 years sales or product support experience. We will also look at farm equipment dealer sales people that are comfortable with heavy travel.
This position will allow you to be involved in the promotion, sales, and service of products throughout the OK/AR/TN Region or the IA/MO/SD/NE Region. You will work out of our Kansas headquarters with up to 70% travel. The primary goals of this position will be promoting the company product line through product demonstrations, recruiting new dealers, and supporting the dealer network. The position will be responsible for technical support and some minor repair of equipment. The company will also provide a laptop, cellular phone, and pay all travel related expenses.
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Strong farming background with equipment knowledge and high mechanical aptitude
- Outgoing, assertive, and customer oriented with strong sales aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on approach to working with dealers to demonstrate equipment and exhibit at farm shows
- Good overall knowledge of seeding, tillage, farm implement, harvesting equipment
- Willingness to travel 4-5 days a week
- Willingness to live in Kansas as your home base
