The Land OLakes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the company's many business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation. By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land OLakes business units, members and customers.
Position Purpose:
An inspiring leader with (10 ) years of progressive Manufacturing experience and accomplishments having delivered continuous improvement in the areas of Cost, Quality, Service, People, and Environment. Executive Management experiences of (3 ) years in building and developing a world-class Manufacturing Staff. Financial knowledge and savvy to tranlate plant financial results into Operational Actions Plans.
The ability and experience to foster a work environemt to attract, retain, engage, and empower employees in all levelsof the Manufacturing facility. Demonstrated success in networking with company executives, peers, and external resources to share and acquire best practices to drive sustainable World-Class results.
Provides clear and strategic direction and executes with excellence. Defines and presents to operations management the plant's viewpoints and recommendations on long term operating goals and programs and drives performance in all key performance areas including Cost, Quality, Safety, People, and Environment to optimize profitability and customer requirements.Puts Human Safety and Food Safety
FIRST.
Determines need for Organizational Changes to meet current budgetary and longer term TMM (Total Margin Management) operating objectives. Financial background and experiences to understand daily / monthly / year to date impact of line efficiency, material yield, and labor productivity on overall Plant, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain performance. Leads the plant through Change Management processes in an effective and efficient manner.
Determines best course of action problem-solving of quality, logistics sourcing, and engineering requirements in a matrixed organization. Defines and directs activities in Labor and Employee Relations and other manufacturing policies and procedures.
Achieves results through Teamwork and positive influence. Coaches and develops others. Selects, trains and develops employees at all levels and models Leadership through positive influence for the facility and across the organization.
Leads change and innovation. Effective interaction and integration of support functions of Quality, Logistics, Sourcing, Human Resources, and Community Relations.
Must be willing to relocate for future career growth.
Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required):
4 year college degree Milling Science or other related field
5 years feed mill or related field experience
