The Land OLakes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the company's many business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation.
By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land OLakes business units, members and customers.

Position Purpose:

Provide shift leadership, guidance, and supervision to all hourly employees in production, sanitation, quality, safety, and warehousing. Work closely with all members of management staff and corporate resources to ensure that the highest quality of finished product is produced within the scheduled timelines in a safe and efficient manner. Train and develop people in an active role. Make corrections as needed, coordinating with Production Leads and Trainers. Provide and gather input to performance reviews and actively coach/mentor employees to reach their optimum potential. Uphold and demonstrate the Land O'Lakes Core Values and Leadership Expectations.

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):
Bachelor Degree, preferably in food science, chemistry, or related field required and 3 years experience in shift supervision in food processing environment with progressive leadership responsibilities; experience with GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, and quality assurance.

Competencies-Skills (Required):

Must have ability to communicate with a variety of people and negotiate priorities; demonstrated written communication skills; capacity for consistently meeting deadlines; ability to manage multiple projects; solid organization and detail orientation, excellent follow-through skills and strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and data entry.


Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

LEAN / SixSigma experience a plus
