Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.

Our Dairy Advisor (DA), will be responsible for building strong relationships with targeted patrons gaining insights as to their business needs with coordination and delivery of services and products to meet their needs.
The Scope of Role will be to manage a targeted patron list, objectively quantify the increase in key producer margin and new sales margin within LOL. The goal is to become net profitable within three years. Position will be required to attend training sessions and execute communication tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Visit with assigned list of targeted patrons a minimum of 14 times during the first 12 months. In preparation for interactions with targeted patrons, the DA will be responsible for learning as much as possible about the targeted patrons via existing Member Relations staff, industry intelligence, and Internet research.

2. Participate in training programs for current and future MDA's and DAs. Focus will be placed on effective selling skills, communication, measuring success, value proposition and scalable processes.

3. As insights are discovered within targeted patrons, the DA will be responsible to coordinate delivery of products and services to meet targeted patrons needs. Position is expected to contribute to coordination with both Land OLakes functional teams as well as outside suppliers.

4. Communicate & coordinate with other Member Relations staff members allowing for seamless service to the targeted patrons. The DA will assume responsibility for the Master Relationship manager with their list of targeted patrons.
This position will be responsible to execute the developed communication strategy to ensure success with the goals outlined above.

Qualifications:
Experience-Education
(Required):
Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience.

Competencies-Skills
(Required):
Must have intimate knowledge of the sectors that impact dairy producer operations or margins; for example: milking systems, animal health & nutrition, farming techniques, risk management, crop nutrients, seed technology, etc. Must be a self-starter and have a desire to develop sales skills. Must be able to work well with others and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to execute action orientated programs.
