A Field Manager is needed to oversee all outside activities at a seed production plant in southern Illinois.

This job is focused on growing and processing quality seed and has a wide variety of responsibilities. You will be working directly with the farmer growers to secure acreage, sign contracts, deliver parent seed, scout fields, and oversee harvest activities. You will also be responsible for monitoring seed storage bins and scheduling product for delivery and processing.
This job will also have you in personnel management situations where you will be delegating work and making sure the product processed meets customer quality standards. The company offers a fun atmosphere with simplistic policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a farm background with experiences in a seed or fertilizer plant and be able to solve problems and have a focus on quality and attention to detail. A two- or four-year agricultural degree is preferred but not required.

You will be paid a competitive salary and be eligible for an overall company bonus program based upon profitability, plus be provided medical benefits and the ability to participate in a company wellness program. $50-60,000.
