Laboratory Technician - St. Louis, MO
This is a full time, non-exempt position

Job Responsibilities:

  •     Must have the ability to work all shifts
  •      Perform routine analytical tests in an accurate and timely manner on flour
  •      Conduct routine quality control testing
  •      Recording and interpreting test results
  •      Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment
  •      Multitasking and troubleshooting problems as they arise on all shifts
  •      Create blends to meet customer specifications
  •      Document results and generate certificates of analysis
  Job Requirements:
 

  •     Should be familiar with lab instrumentation but not required
  •     Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, working without immediate supervision
  •     Computer skills and competency in Excel and Word are preferred
  •     Position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  •     Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures (previous safety committee and/or other safety leadership experience is a plus)
  •     Must have ability to work weekends and 12 hour shifts
