Laboratory Technician - St. Louis, MO
This is a full time, non-exempt position
Job Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to work all shifts
- Perform routine analytical tests in an accurate and timely manner on flour
- Conduct routine quality control testing
- Recording and interpreting test results
- Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment
- Multitasking and troubleshooting problems as they arise on all shifts
- Create blends to meet customer specifications
- Document results and generate certificates of analysis
- Should be familiar with lab instrumentation but not required
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, working without immediate supervision
- Computer skills and competency in Excel and Word are preferred
- Position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures (previous safety committee and/or other safety leadership experience is a plus)
- Must have ability to work weekends and 12 hour shifts
