One of the top four swine producers in the United States is seeking to improve their management team. They are seeking a skilled agri-business professional with live production experience and superior people management skills to provide consistent team guidance. The company currently manages over 155,000 head of sows predominantly in the State of Iowa.
Positions are located in North Central Iowa

To Be Considered For This Role:

    You must have a minimum of 3 years of people management skills in a Swine Live Production operation with the focus being on team management, training & development, coaching & mentoring, organization and motivation of people. Live production would ideally be in a swine operation, but will also consider people out of poultry, beef cattle or dairy. Want the people skills.
    You must have experience managing all aspect of a live production operation including General Animal Husbandry, Proper Production Practices, Safety & Bio-Security, Nutrition, Treatment & Vaccination, Animal Flow, Environmental & Waste Management protocols and record keeping.
    Ideal experience will include proficiency in all aspects of the swine operation.

Management:
You will use your demonstrated people management skills to train, develop, mentor and guide your team with the use of proven motivation and organizational skills to achieve company productivity goals. Additionally you will work in collaboration with site leadership to effectively manage all the employees and farm production while being responsible for enforcing safety protocols, coordinate maintenance and nutrient management.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00
