Elevator Superintendent - Monument & Oakley, KS
This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
Candidate will supervise all day to day activities of elevator at the Monument & Oakley facility. This includes loading, unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending, drying, storage, aeration and fumigation of grain.
Job Responsibilities:
Must maintain a safe, sanitary workplace in compliance with company policies and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, etc.)
Responsible for training and supervision of hourly employees in operations, as well as maintain the facility
Establish and maintain appropriate preventative maintenance and sanitation schedules
Job Requirements:
- College education, or equivalent supervisory experience required
- Preferred grain handling and grading experience
- Basic computer skills are required
- Must be self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined to operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment
- Position requires walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders, working in extreme temperature conditions, and extended seasonal hours
