Highly respected agricultural equipment company is seeking a Lead Tractor Service Technician who is passionate about working on tractors and providing outstanding customer service.

This person will spend at least 90% of their time working on tractors ranging from older machine rebuilds to newer machine diagnostics. Whether your passion is working in the shop or spending more of your time out on the road doing on-farm service calls, you will be allowed to develop your career in the direction you enjoy.

The ideal candidate will be mature and have at least 10 years mechanical experience; however, the company will consider strong candidates with five or more years experience. All candidates must have experience working with electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine diagnostics and repairs as well as be AC certified. A farm background and experience dealing with people in the ag community is highly preferred. Candidates currently working as truck, construction, or in a related Service Technician position will also be considered; however, some past tractor experience is required.

The successful candidate will be a team player with strong decision making skills who enjoys being a leader and obtains gratification from helping younger techs increase in their knowledge and experience with tractors. This company places a high premium on training; the successful candidate should desire to continue to learn and grow and become a key member of a top notch service team.

Compensation is hourly and will likely be in the mid $20's depending upon experience. A great benefit package is included.
