Role Responsibilities include:
•Consolidate and prepare Avanade Inc. financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Shareholders' Equity and Cash Flows Statement)
•Ensure timely and accurate completion of Avanade Inc. Annual and Semi-Annual Reports
•Work with external auditors during their review and audit
•Assist with preparation of Avanade Audit Committee materials
•Prepare pre close review of Avanade global financial results, including GAAP revenue recognition, operating expenses, reimbursements, working capital, balance sheet fluctuations and drivers of change
•Act as the liaison between Avanade local Finance and external auditors as it relates to balance sheet and income statement analytics and other matters
•Ensure compliance with all Avanade Global Controllership internal controls
•Participate in special projects as assigned by both Avanade and Accenture Senior Management
•Understand and identify potential impact of new accounting standards on financial statements
Basic Qualifications:
•Undergraduate degree (accounting or finance preferred)
•A mixture of public accounting, industry experience that includes US GAAP reporting (not necessarily in services industry), and/or Accenture experience
Professional Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous financial accounting experience
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to escalate important issues for resolution
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proficient in use of SAP and MS Office
Preferred Skills:
6+ years in Accounting function with multinational company or public accounting experience and SEC Reporting experience
CPA or like designation
