A very reputable Agronomy retailer is looking to add a Seed Leader to their staff. This is a very family oriented company that prides themselves on treating their customers in the best possible manner. This position presents an opportunity to work independently and develop your own territory. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in an agronomy-related field.

Seed Leader Responsibilities:

* Promotes the sales of seed and related products to farmer patrons
* Maintain quality relationships with current and new customers
* Works with sales team to develop sales goals and action plans
* Work with suppliers and manufacturers to develop strategic goals and implement specific business objectives
* Staying up-to-date and knowledgeable on seed products
* Give recommendations on seed, fertilizer, and chemical inputs to our patrons for primarily corn and soybeans crops

Seed Leader Requirements:

* Experience in a management role
* Computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented
* 3+ years sales experience (preferably in the agronomy industry)
* Agronomic background is desirable
