A very large and progressive farming operation is looking to hire a full-time Irrigation Manager.
My client is looking for someone who has experience with center pivot and swing-arm maintenance.
This person would be leading a team of technicians and supervisors of up to 20 people that are in charge of over 90 pivots across 20,000 acres of row crop.
The equipment operators would help out during down time, but this person would be responsible for making everything run on a timely matter.
This Irrigation Manager will be directly reporting to the Owner and the Operations Manager of the farm, so being able to communicate effectively on a daily basis is crucial.

The qualified candidate MUST have swing-arm and center pivot technician experience to be considered.

Irrigation Manager Desired Capabilities:

* General preventative maintenance on center pivots. (Tires, control boxes, electrical, etc.)
* Variable Frequency Drives Installation and Start Up
* Pump Troubleshooting & Installation
* Pivot Troubleshooting & Installation
* Welding & Fabrication
* Manage general labor crew (12-15 people)

Compensation:

* $60,000-$80,000
* Vehicle Allowance
* Benefits/retirement
