JOB PURPOSE:

    Provides business decision support for the Business Unit (BU).
    Full responsibility for financial plans and financial management for the BU.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES


  •     Member of the BU Management Team. Provide financial leadership for all strategic and operating decisions. Provide financial analysis and scenario planning for all major BU decisions (advancement/retirement, pricing, demand planning, risk management.).
  •     Responsible for all financial planning, budgeting, outlooks and 5YP for the revenue cycle. Responsible for collaborating with centralized North America Finance function to develop cost of goods sold plans for the BU.
  •     Monitor invoicing and payment activity and integrity and assist in development of weekly sales projections along with monthly DIBM review.
  •     Provide training and development to the BU team in the area of finance.
  •     Responsible for developing fixed cost plans for the BU including headcount, promotional costs and travel/entertainment. Responsible for monitoring fixed cost spending.
  •     Lead activity to define and measure key business metrics for the BU. Responsible for financial reporting of key BU indicators (revenue, fixed costs, PTOI) at the BU and Commercial Unit level.
  •     Responsible for the internal control environment for the BU and lead compliance activities within the BU.
  •     Provide local supervision and leadership to BU administrative and IM staff.


Skills:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.


Requires 5-7 years of corporate or public accounting experience.

Need to possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Must have the ability to understand business processes, systems and objectives to apply in financial analysis.

Excellent organization and prioritization skills are needed to work independently with minimal supervision.
