Job Description:

Highly motivated and client service oriented Transportation Design Engineer specializing in roadway/​highway design.​

    Assist in the development of roadway design plans, specifications and estimates, ranging from intersections to tollways.​
    Perform drainage design, earthwork computations and utility coordination.​
    Assist with writing special provisions.​
    Interact and communicate effectively with design team members.​

Position Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
    1 - 2 years experience in transportation design
    Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation and ISTHA policies and procedures for design and construction document preparation a plus.​
    Experience with Geopak and MicroStation a plus.​
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.​
