The Salisbury Processing Plant of Perdue Farms located in Salisbury, Maryland is looking for an experienced senior industrial maintenance mechanic.
Candidates with both industrial maintenance and electrical experience are preferred.
Candidates with management or lead experience are preferred.
General maintenance mechanic duties are to repair, install, maintain and adjust all equipment and machinery necessary throughout the plant facilities. This is a 2nd shift position that works 4:00pm to approximately 2:00am, Monday thru Saturday with 1 day off during the week.

Electrician duties include the service and maintenance for all electrical systems in the complex such as three phase motor services, control circuits, main and sub panels,lighting systems transformers, etc.

Candidates must have industrial maintenance and/or electrical experience for 3 to 4 years to be considered.
Must know shop math, be able to interpret drawings, and use tools required.
Must be proficient in at least three of the following areas:
Pipe fitting/plumbing, welding, the operation of shop machinery, sheet metal,millwright, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, automatic equipment operation (set-up, repair, and tear down), or boiler operation. Must supply own hand tools. Reading, writing, and math skills required.

Internal candidates must meet above experience requirements as well as the following??

1. Must have no more than 2 unexcused absences

2. Must have 0 active disciplinary

3. Must be able to meet Medical Requirements for position

4. Must have been in current position @ Perdue for at least 6 months

Candidates that have industrial maintenance and electrical experience for more than 4 years are preferred. Candidates with management or lead experience are preferred. High school degree or equivalent preferred.
