Job Description
This position will report to the Senior Director, EHS and will be responsible for the management functions associated with new and refurbishing construction projects. Based in Loveland, Colorado, the Construction Manager will be responsible to provide recommendations, costing and scope construction projects. This includes overseeing construction administration and the details associated with contract tracking, negotiation and execution. This position is responsible for handling complex issues regarding construction execution and related matters. This position will require travel.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Assist in the preparation of contracts; negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensuring construction and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications.
Perform site visits to ensure good engineering practices are implemented.
Working with management, and branches to resolve issues, secure approvals, and ensure successful construction project.
Tracking and ensuring appropriate limits of authority are followed
Serving as point of contact for the branch during all phases of a project
Ensure that a schedule is developed for all projects; and in logical steps with timeline required to meet deadlines.
Interpret and explain plans and construction details to branch management and developer as needed.
Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
Ensure thorough budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports are maintained.
Ensure that quality control programs are in place.
Guide locations on appropriate actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

Required Education:
