Production Worker/Packer - Milwaukee, WI
ADM Cocoa-Milwaukee
This is an hourly position

About ADM Cocoa Division
The Cocoa Processing Plant has multiple production positions at the Milwaukee processing plant.  ADM Cocoa is one of the largest cocoa bean grinders and industrial chocolate producers in the world and is a key component of ADM's global food business portfolio.  ADM Cocoa operates plants in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The Role
Packers work in multiple functions in the chocolate production process.  Packers are responsible for packaging chocolate products at the final stage of the production process.  To perform this work packers operate multiple machines including the packing, tape and labeling machines, forklifts and hand trucks.  Packers must also perform quality assurance and safety checks, basic machine programming, and cleaning work in the production area.

Qualifications/Requirements
3-5 years of work experience.  Experience in food processing/agricultural industry a plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn the functions and operation of basic machinery.

Essential Responsibilities
Packing, packaging, labeling and palletizing finished cocoa products.
Operate packing, taping and labeling machines.
Basic data entry and machine programming.
Operation of fork lift and hand truck equipment to move pallets.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing quality and safety programs, policies and regulations.
Monitor the supply and quality of containers.
Promote good manufacturing practices (GMP) in operation.

Travel/Overtime
The position requires no travel.
