 Farmers Cooperative is currently seeking someone with experience in territory planning, sales, customer service, and reporting, budgeting, forecasting and sound agronomic recommendation to our member.  The FSA will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within FC and a professional image for FC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may also be assigned)
 Provide a communication channel between the customer and location staff in order to set proper service expectations levels, resolve problems and scheduling issues.
 Keep location personnel informed so that a consistent and proper message is communicated to the customer.
 Work with other departments and locations to identify potential benefits to the customer from other company programs.
 Develop account plans that include strategy and tactics for achieving desired customer results.
 Periodically forecast sales volumes for inventory planning and budget projections.
 Maintain and increase sales with existing customers.
 Gain business from new customers.
 Attain sales goals.
 Monitor monthly agronomy sales and expense reports.
 Manage sales in order to achieve target margins and product mix.
 Establish goals that are compatible with FC Corporate Goals.
 Work with the location manager and marketing manager to establish the agronomy budget with particular emphasis on sales volumes & direct selling expenses.
 Monitor and evaluate potential accounts receivable risks on current and potential customers in order to minimize the companys accounts receivable risk exposure.
 Timely feedback to FC on execution of plans, needs, opportunities, value, and obstacles discovered during the selling process.
 Provide input on existing and potential policies and procedures.
 Make regular sales calls on current and potential customers.
 Manage and maintain a list of customers and prospects.
 Prioritize prospects and partial customers to identify the best opportunities for growth.
 Follow all FC Safety policies & procedures.
 Maintain sales contracts and bookings.  Help location monitor projected sales in order to monitor inventory needs.
 Document and submit sales call information to marketing manager.
 Work with customers, suppliers, and management to resolve product/service complaints fairly and equitably.
 Communicate the proper use of products and equipment to customers.
 Make sound agronomic recommendations to customers in order to maximize returns for the customers.
 Present solutions, products, services, concepts, and the value of FCs offer.
 Handle sales objections.
 Ask for the order, commitment, or agreement.
 Use questioning skills to uncover needs and opportunities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
