Director of Marketing and Communications

A high profile Ag organization is seeking a qualified individual to lead the marketing and communications of the organization.  This role is based in Washington DC, and will enable you to work with every major Agricultural and Agronomy related manufacturer, retailer, advertising agencies, and media outlets in the industry!

This is a great opportunity that will enable you to utilize your skills and advance your career by:

    Overseeing weekly, monthly and annual publications of the organization
    Writing and managing press releases and alerts for the organization
    Directing the website operations and further expansion of that resource
    Creating and implementing social media communication strategies (currently Twitter and LinkedIn)
    Managing and developing industry media relations for the organization
    Overseeing the committee and recipient selection for two national award programs
    Creating promotional materials and advertising strategies for national conferences, regional events, and industry awards.

While not required, ideal candidates will have a background in the ag industry and relocation assistance is available for candidates that would need to move to the area.
